Charlie is a rising 6 year old purebred Irish Draught gelding, he is standing at 16hh.
He is a dream to ride, he is extremely rideable, he has a super soft mouth, he wants to please at all times and never wants to put a foot wrong, he is a quick learner, he loves his flat work and he never has a bad day.
Charlie is very easy and quiet to ride, he has a very soft mouth, he is looking for the contact and rides in a lovely outline, he has taken part in unaffiliated prelim dressage tests and always has several sevens in his score sheets and he got eights for his lovely trot.
He will only get better in time, he is always trying his best, he has three great paces, he is a straight mover. Charlie has a lovely uphill canter, it’s comfortable to sit and its expression will become better with time and strength.
He has started his lateral movements. Charlie should be ready for novice tests in no time.
Charlie will jump a course of Showjumps, we have jumped him up to 90cm, he loose jumps over 1m with ease, he is extremely honest, he really doesn’t want to do anything wrong, he has the sweetest nature, he is just adorable.
Charlie has hunted and done charity rides, he loves jumping drains and coffins, he takes everything in his stride and is a pleasure to bring cross country.
Charlie is a purebred Irish Draught, he has full recorded breeding, his Sire is Bellamont, very important pedigree, one of last Young Arthur RID 9 stallions. This horse is one of last true Outcross purebred stallions with zero Pride of Shaunlara, Milestone, King of Diamonds, or even Mountain Heather.
His dam is Corker Know Turning Back by Bridgeford Stockbroker, a performance stallion with several RDS outings.
Charlies strength is dressage but he is always up to try out different things. He would be best suited for someone who loves schooling on the flat and want to bring on a young horse, but he is also suitable for any other equestrian discipline.
He is very easy and quiet and should be suitable as a ladies horse, for novice, mother daughter share or riding school.
He is easy to hack out, alone or in company, he is good in open places, he is very good in traffic and used to all kind of farm machinery.
Charlie is easy to shoe, box, catch, clip, ride and in traffic, he has no stable vices, open to any vetting.
