Elegant Hunting ladies on horseback – Side Saddle Hunt Weekend

Catch up with these elegant hunting ladies who along with Side Saddle riders from all over the world will descend on Brittas house, the stately home of Oinri Jackson and Neville Jessop on Saturday, November 30 at 1pm.  The Irish Horse Gateway will be speaking with these elegant ladies shortly and learning more about the art of traditional riding, the side saddle revival and the ladies who hunt rather than lunch.  The Irish Horse Gateway has many  horses who could make for an ideal side saddle mount so check out our latest listings on the Irish Horse Gateway for sale pages.

Ladies who hunt

The hunt will see the Tara Harriers lead the field of elegant ladies across the rolling countryside of north Meath.

To add to the excitement that night the Tara Harriers Hunt Ball will be held in the Headford Arms Hotel, Kells, commencing with a drinks reception at 7pm

To continue the weekend the side saddle riders and their companions will spend Sunday afternoon hunting over Galway’s renowned stone wall country with the Grallagh Harriers (1pm meet).
